What is 1300SMILES Stadium seating capacity?

The official seating capacity of 1300SMILES Stadium is 26,500.   


Can I hire out a function space at 1300SMILES Stadium on non-event days?

1300SMILES Stadium can be hired out for conferences, functions and events on non-game days. If you would like to find out more, please visit our Venue Functions page.

 
Can I hire out 1300SMILES Stadium for a particular event or activity?

1300SMILES Stadium is capable of staging a wide range of small and large scale events, as well as activities such as film shoots, corporate days, product launches and more. To enquire about hiring the stadium, please visit our Stadium Hire page or Contact Us directly.

 
How do I book or enquire about event day corporate packages?

All event day corporate packages are managed by the sporting club of the event you are attending. For corporate packages for Cowboys’ home games at 1300SMILES Stadium, please contact the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys on 1300 GO COWBOYS (1300 462 692). For special events such as concerts, please contact the concert promoter directly.


Can I attend my team’s training sessions?

Open training sessions are at the discretion of the team. For all enquiries regarding open and closed training sessions, please contact your team directly.

Where can I view my gate entry location?

Prior to attending, check out the 1300SMILES Stadium Map to find your gate location, as well as transport information and drop off and pick up zones. 


Can I smoke inside 1300SMILES Stadium?

1300SMILES Stadium is a smoke-free venue. Patrons must exit the stadium if they wish to smoke. This includes e-cigarettes. Please ensure you retain your event ticket to be issued a pass out upon exit and re-entry to the venue.
 

Can I purchase merchandise at 1300SMILES Stadium?

Selected merchandise will be available for purchase at 1300SMILES Stadium on event day. 


What happens when severe weather is forecast for an event?

1300SMILES Stadium is an outdoor, open-air facility. An event may be delayed if adverse weather is experienced, however, this decision is determined by the club or event promoter.  Patrons should check the 1300SMILES Stadium Facebook and Instagram for updated details, and prepare for wet weather by bringing jackets or ponchos. Umbrellas are permitted to be used inside the venue but must not be opened or raised so as to obstruct the views of patrons in the seating areas or concourses at any time.

 
Can I exit and re-enter 1300SMILES Stadium during an event?

If you wish to exit and re-enter 1300SMILES Stadium at any time during an event, please retain your event ticket to be issued a pass out upon exit and re-entry to the venue.
 

Will there be road closures around 1300SMILES Stadium during events?

There are no road closures in place around 1300SMILES Stadium during or after major events. Parking control around the venue is in place to improve pedestrian safety and public transport flow throughout the stadium precinct. The parking control means no stopping in streets surrounding 1300SMILES Stadium between 2pm and 10pm on days of major stadium events. Please follow directions given by Queensland Police, traffic controllers and traffic signs during these times. 
 

What should I do if I experience anti-social behaviour at an event?

Please see the event or security staff at the venue to report anti-social behaviour.


Can I arrange for a personal message to be put up on the big screens during an event?

All message enquires must be made with the venue Hirer for an event (e.g. the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys).  The stadium is not able to provide permission for these messages, and any enquiries will be referred to the Hirer.

Patrons will be subject to bag checks prior to entering the venue. Please refer to our Conditions of Entry for a full list of permitted and prohibited items. 



What food and drink can I bring into 1300SMILES Stadium?

Patrons are not permitted to enter the venue with commercially packaged food o beverages. Patrons are permitted to enter the venue with homemade food, sealed bottled water (up to 1.25L) and sealed juice in small cardboard containers (up to 250mL). Food and beverages can be purchased inside the venue.


Can I bring in a backpack?

Bags are permitted inside 1300SMILES Stadium and will be searched prior to entering the venue. Avoid delays by leaving large bags at home.


Can I bring in an esky?

Soft eskies are permitted so long as they fit under your seat and are smaller than 40cm x 40cm x 40cm. Hard eskies are not permitted into the stadium.


Can I bring in my camera?

Cameras with a lens length no greater than 200mm are permitted into 1300SMILES Stadium. The use of photographic, video or audio equipment for commercial purposes is not permitted. Video and/or audio recorders, commercial digital equipment, camera tripods and/or monopods may be refused entry.


Can I bring in a poster, flag or banner to support my team?

Flags or banners are permitted provided they do not contain offensive wording or political messages. The flag pole must be no greater than 1.5m in length and 2cm in diameter.


Are umbrellas allowed in the stadium?

Umbrellas are permitted, however, must not obstruct the view of other patrons. We recommend that you bring a jacket or poncho if rain is forecast.


Can I bring my child’s stroller or pram into 1300SMILES Stadium?

Strollers or prams are not permitted to be used within the precinct or seating bowl. They must be checked in at the nearest gate or game day office. All care is taken for the items however the venue is not responsible for any damage or loss.


Can I bring hot drinks into 1300SMILES Stadium?

Thermoses containing tea and coffee are allowed. These may be checked by security due to liquor licencing requirements.


I have a medical condition that requires me to bring in something on the prohibited list. What should I do?

How do I get to 1300SMILES Stadium?

Public Transport is the best way to get to 1300SMILES Stadium. We offer a FREE park and ride service for all North Queensland Toyota Cowboys’ home games. The park and ride location is at the Kirwan Health Campus on Thuringowa Drive in the front two car parks. Times for this service vary so please contact us on (07) 4722 7700 or info@1300SMILESstadium.com.au for specific event times. 


Can I park at 1300SMILES Stadium?

Car parking is limited at 1300SMILES Stadium and can be purchased through the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. Please phone 1300 GO COWBOYS (1300 462 692). 


Can I park on the street surrounding 1300SMILES Stadium?

What is the closest bus station to 1300SMILES Stadium?

Is there a taxi rank at 1300SMILES Stadium?

Is there a ride share zone at 1300SMILES Stadium?

There is no designated ride share zone at 1300SMILES Stadium.


How do I apply for coach/bus parking?

1300SMILES Stadium offers a number of bus parking bays at the Northern Bus & Taxi Zone which need to be pre-booked in advance by contacting us on (07) 4722 7700 or info@1300SMILESstadium.com.au. The bys parking bays are accessible via Morindo Drive, Kirwan. A member of our security team will assist you in entering and allocating a parking bay for the event.


Is there somewhere to leave a bicycle?

Bicycle racks are located outside the Northern Entry Gate of the stadium.

Tickets for all events held at 1300SMILES Stadium should only be purchased through Ticketek Australia. All questions regarding ticketing should be directed to Ticketek Australia.

 


Where can I buy tickets for events at 1300SMILES Stadium?

Ticketek Australia is the only authorised ticketing agent for events at the venue. 1300SMILES Stadium has no obligation to honour tickets purchased from unauthorised re-sellers such as Viagogo, Ticketmaster Resale, Tickets, Ebay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia, Ticket Merchant, Ticket Blaster, Ticket Bis, Queenoftickets or any other outlets or reseller. 
 

Can I buy tickets at 1300SMILES Stadium on the event day?

Provided an event is not sold out beforehand, tickets are available for purchase and collection from gate opening times on event days. Ticket offices are located at our West, North, East and South gates. Please note some ticket offices may be closed depending on the event.


Are there alcohol-free seating options?

There are unlicensed seating options available via Ticketek Australia. Patrons are not permitted to consume any alcohol in these areas.


I have lost my ticket. What should I do?

Keep a record of your transaction and account number to assist staff to quickly handle any query. Contact Ticketek Australia on 132 849 before the event. If you lose your tickets on the way to the event, please see staff at any of the ticket offices located at the venue. 


Does my child need a ticket?

Depending on the event you are attending, your child may not need a ticket if they do not occupy a seat. This is at the discretion of the club or promoter. For North Queensland Toyota Cowboys events, children 4 years of age and under do not require a ticket to access the venue. Please contact the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys or 1300SMILES Stadium for more information.


How do I make group ticket bookings?

Groups booking ten (10) or more tickets should call the Ticketek Group Booking line on 1300 364 001.


I want a refund on my ticket. What should I do?


Ticketek will only offer a refund when an event has been cancelled or rescheduled, or where required by Australian Consumer Law. To submit a request for a refund or exchange, please visit this Ticketek Help Desk page.


I have injured myself and would like to relocate to more accessible seating. What should I do?

Please contact Ticketek Australia if you would like to change your original seating location due to medical reasons.


How do I qualify for a concession ticket?

Concession availability and entitlements vary from event to event, depending on the club or promoter. Information about concession tickets will be provided at point of sale on the Ticketek Australia website.


How are the rows numbered?

Row A is the first row in our seating bays and then work backwards. Row AA is after Row Z.


Where should I buy tickets if I want to sit behind the players benches?

For Cowboys’ home games, the both home and away teams will enter the field via the Western Grandstand.

Is accessible seating available at 1300SMILES Stadium?

Accessible seating is available at 1300SMILES Stadium and can be purchased through Ticketek Australia. Please see the staff at your gate for the best accessible route to your seat.


Are there accessible toilets at 1300SMILES Stadium?

Accessible toilets are located throughout 1300SMILES Stadium. Please see the event staff inside the venue to locate the closest accessible toilet to your designated seating location.


Is there wheelchair access to all seating areas?

All designated accessible seating is located without the need to utilise the stairs, or is accessible via lifts. Please see the event staff at your gate for the best accessible route to your seat.

Are there baby changing facilities inside 1300SMILES Stadium?

Baby changing facilities are located at all of our disabled toilets within the venue.


Is cloaking available at 1300SMILES Stadium?

There is no cloaking available at 1300SMILES Stadium 


Do you have ATMs?

There is one ATMs available inside the stadium outside the Members Bar. All merchandise and catering outlets are equipped with EFTPOS facilities. 


Do you have First Aid facilities?

First Aid facilities are available at Gate 6 and Southern Gate. See our event staff for assistance. 


Where can I go to collect lost property?

Found items left at the stadium on event days can be collected from 1300SMILES Stadium Match Day Office at Gate 1 during regular business hours.
